Date and cocoa cake 🤎🍫

No refined sugar just amazing taste and texture

You will need
1 cup of dates pitted
1 1/4 cup of almond or oat milk
3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp of peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup cacao powder
1 bar 85% bar chocolate

Line a loaf tin with greaseproof paper
Turn oven to 180 degrees

Add the milk to the dates, heat in microwave ubtil dates have softened then blend together
Add all wet ingredients together and mix together (careful not to over-mix)

Whisk together all dry ingredients then add in several stages to the wet ingredients.

Once everything is well mixed, pour in chopped dark chocolate and mix together.

Pour cake mixture into the prepared loaf tin and place in oven for 35-40 mins. Check cake is throughly cooked but it’s important not to over bake.
