Maintenance treatment for Flo this afternoon.
Flo is working away nicely and becoming more balanced and her muscles are developing nicely.

New client to my books today was the lovely Fred.
Fred settled into his treatment really well and we worked through his points of tension he was holding.
Such a lovely boy to work with 😍
Another fab day working with a variety of horses. Helping older horses feel more comfortable 💕
Building up the hind end..
This area which houses major muscle groups such as the gluteals, biceps femoris, semitendinosus.
These muscles are important for impulsion and forward movement, balance and posture.
It doesn’t matter what discipline your horse is ridden in a strong hind end is important. This is the power which drives your horse!
Some good exercises to help in strengthening this area can be.
⭐️ Transitions walk to halt, halt to walk, trot to halt, halt to trot
⭐️ Hill work and varied terrain.
⭐️ pole work- cavaletti
⭐️ backing up
