Here we go again !!! Unfortunately due to the latest lockdown restrictions we are now closed until further notice . Good morning to all our lovely clients .unfortunately due to the latest lockdown restrictions the salon will be closed until the 2nd of December. All Decembers appointments will stay as they are and I will be working extra days to try and fit all of you in that will have missed your November appointments. Twas the night before the salons opened
When all through the night
Not a thing out of place
Not a client in sight

Their visors were hung by the stations with care
In hope that their clients
Soon would be there

And I in my PJs
The staff in their plaits
Had just settled down for a long last nap

In the morning the alarm made such a loud clatter
I tried to fit in my uniform
But I'd gotten much fatter

The shutters are open
staff run in like a flash
The clients are waiting
To be seen in a dash

The nerves are all hidden
Let's put on a show
The clients all need us to be
A safe place to go

Everyones hair is so long, so scruffy and thick
They've waited so long, but their appointment won't be quick

At the backwash they sit as I call out their name
We chat and we laugh
We've missed this all the same

My scissors, the sanitizer, disposable aprons
Barbicide, gloves, no place to be waiting

The clients are smiling
The staff are having a ball
So colour away, cut away, blow away all

Salon bleached and scrubbed all clean and sparkly ! Ready for next week ! Thanks to the team , you all worked so hard .... now for a well deserved drink I think !

Hi ladies & gents I do hope you are all well & have coped with lockdown, how nice is it that’s there’s light at the end of the tunnel? All be it a long tunnel lol. As some of you are aware we have been given the nod to restart as of the 4th of July so I have now started opening my diary & will contact you one by one in the order that I left you all back in March. This first message is just to let you know what to expect with in the first month or so of re opening .
Firstly please come on your own if you can as we aren’t allowed any waiting area of any kind so I will either text or call you in when I am ready so please be on time as being late will effect or even result in cancelling your appointment. Hand washing/sanitising is mandatory as you enter, please limit your belongings & only bring a coat if necessary. Please be aware of other people around you & keep the correct distance, sadly we can’t offer magazines or drinks but you’re welcome to bring your own. Apparently mask are not mandatory but Preferable so if you have one please wear one. I will be wearing a visor as will the rest of the staff and There will be a box of disposable masks at the salon which can be provided with a small cost. Most importantly please rearrange your appointment if you have any coronavirus symptoms at all Or are feeling generally unwell . My self & the girls at the salon will be following all government guidelines as your safety is paramount, we will have all the relevant ppe & sterilising & cleaning will be done before & after each customer. The last thing which will probably not come as a shock is that due to more ppe, the current rise in running cost and stock & the fact that we won’t be able to accommodate as many customers In a day as we used to is a price increase.
