Polite customer notice! (Lengthy read!)

To anybody booked in this week - this is a polite notice to inform you that you need to be aware that the treatment room is small and therefore does get extremely hot at times - especially of an evening as that is when the sun comes round and hits the front of the house and the treatment room.

I unfortunately do not have an air conditioning unit so please just bear this in mind before you come for your treatment.

It is advised to come in with a cold drink and wear lightweight clothes to keep cool during your treatment(s).

If you do wish to postpone your treatment then please do get in touch with me and I will do my best to get appointments rescheduled as soon as possible.

A few things to point out:

Waxing - If you have got any sunburn on the areas due to be waxed I WILL NOT be able to carry out your treatment.

Please don’t come for your waxing appt and then immediately go and sit out in the sun.
Remember you must not sunbathe or swim for at least 48hrs after your treatment.

Massage:

If you struggle with the hotter weather, then maybe look at rearranging.

There’s nothing worse than being uncomfortable due to heat and then as a result being unable to fully relax.

A massage is precious time for you and your self care so it has to be right.

Nails:

These are obviously lengthier treatments so make sure you are prepared for this in advance.

Before your appointment

* Try to arrive with cool, dry hands.

* Excessive sweating can make nail preparation more difficult.

* Avoid applying hand cream or oils immediately beforehand.

* A very hot salon can affect how some products behave so please bear this in mind too when it comes to results in how long your gel treatment lasts.

* Please don’t come for a treatment if you struggle with swollen hands or feet during hot weather.
