The kids enjoyed the Christingle service. Every piece of the Christingle is a symbol: the candle symbolises Jesus as being the light in the world. The orange symbolises the world and the 4 cocktail sticks with candid fruit are for God’s creations in the 4 seasons. The red ribbon stands for the blood of Jesus.

I love the Advent season as it is such a nice time to do crafts. ⭐️ Here is the golden prototype I made in preparation for the school Christmas fair, where I offered this as a craft activity. On the other picture are the small gifts I made for all my EYFS kids at school for Christmas.

Well, this sweet child of mine is certainly not screaming but enjoying the encounter with this jungle creature. An amazing birthday party at a friend’s house…

This was a rather wonderful surprise: seeing a white egret in our pond. We are visited by grey herons regularly as they dine on frogs and toads from the ponds. But this white egret was a novelty!

We love having these visitors coming regularly into our garden: a grown dear and two babies… Wonderful to have nature on one’s doorstep! 💚🦌
