Just a quick post to say thanks to everybody for the outpouring of love and support you all sent. To say I was overwhelmed is an understatement, but I appreciate it so much 🩷
Anyway enough of the doom and gloom ! I’m opening this Saturday if you feel like popping in for a chat and pick up some bits , it’s my birthday next week and I’m taking some time out to process things so I won’t probably do another for a fortnight or so xx

Hello all , just wanted to pop on an update to keep you all in the loop , this is not news I really wanted to share I feel it’s only fair so people know what’s happening. 6 weeks ago I had surgery to remove my right kidney and ureter plus a bladder cuff due to a suspected uretic tumour (small tube that is connecting kidney to bladder for those who don’t know ) I had a hospital appointment Friday to get my results and unfortunately, they weren’t good. The results showed an aggressive type of cancer , at this moment in time we have no idea if it has been contained ( removed in the op ) or as it is aggressive if it has spread elsewhere. I’ve had another ct scan to determine if it has, but awaiting results. Either way I will be starting therapy very soon , which type depends on the results of the ct scan. I have my first oncology appointment on the 15th July , a day before my 60th birthday typically. What I will say is , I’m a strong person and I will fight this every step of the way, but for now at least, definitely this month, I will have to put a halt on market night, I have been advised by my consultant to stay active though , pretty much to carry on as much as I can although I still have extreme fatigue getting used to one kidney but I need to keep active to stay strong fit and healthy to be able to deal with the therapy to come, not only for health reasons but to keep my brain occupied. So this being said I am going to start back at work this week , easing myself back in and topping up stock and definitely a couple of open days too to give you a chance to top up on your faves, also being self employed means I still have bills to pay x As I’ve said to my family /friends , just your support is all that’s needed right now and the same goes here , please keep everything crossed for me x Thanks for reading and I hope to see you all soon xx.
Also I do apologise to those that have messaged over the last few days that I haven’t replied , but as you can imagine it’s been a lot to take in xx

Evening guys tomorrow is my very last day open before my surgery if anyone wants to pop let me know I will be open for 10am till 2pm and collections if you have market night are also available Sunday 10-1pm but that’s my last day with it being bank holiday Monday xx
