As members of the government taskforce, the British Beauty Council, NHBF, BABTAC, Hair and Barber Council and The Guild along with invited industry businesses, leaders and medical experts, are currently reviewing the draft government guidelines for hairdressers and salons, beauty therapists, nail technicians, mobiles, make-up artists and barbershops to return safely to work (England only). We do not yet know when the final guidelines will be published.
We continue to work with the government to develop ways for businesses, such as hairdressers, barbers, make-up artists, nail techs and beauty therapists to reopen safely for both employees and customers.
This work is progressing well. 🙏🏼
