I am a lady and I stay in in the city. I live with my grandmother. I graduated in 2018. My grandmother works as a maid. I am not working yet.

My issue is that the boss my grandmother is working for has been telling me to start working as a maid so that my grandmother can rest. She has sat me down several times. My grandmother is 75 yrs old. She says she can't tell her to cook or do anything because of her age.

I feel working as a maid is below my level. As someone who went to school, I am finding it difficult to settle for a job as a maid. I explained everything to her but she can't understand. I don't know maybe she takes me for a fo.ol. Because where can I even start from?

My grandmother is in support of her. Simply because she has done a lot for us with her husband. I am feeling confused and de.pressed right now.

The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into the d£ath of a 42-year-old man, Gihan Mbelu, said to be the chairman of the Victoria Garden City in the Lekki area of the state.

According to a post by one Deji Lambo, the financial adviser and venture capitalist was found unconscious in his C300 4Matic car around 10.10 am on Friday, April 26, 2024, around VGC.

He was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where he was confirmed d£ad by a doctor on duty.

It was gathered that people decided to inspect his vehicle which had been running for hours at the spot where it was parked.

“Concerned by the discovery, some of the people in the area, upon close observation of the vehicle, found Mbelu in it,” the post read.

“While some people speculated that the 42-year-old man might be sleeping, some other persons, who were bent on ascertaining Mbelu’s true state, reportedly made frantic efforts to wake him up but it proved abortive.

“In a bid to rescue Mbelu, it was learnt that he was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where he was reportedly confirmed dead by one of the doctors on duty.

“Mbelu’s co**se was said to have been deposited in the hospital’s morgue. The case was also reported to the police for an investigation to commence to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Mbelu’s d£ath.”

Until his death, Mbelu was married Eloho, a tech entrepreneur, former investment banker and private equity investor. They have two daughters.

Reacting to the post, the spokesperson of the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident on Saturday, April 27, saying that investigation has commenced into the case.

Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba has lamented over the choice of outfit ladies wear to the gym.

The movie star, in a video on his official Instagram account, lamented that women now wear revealing outfits to the gym, and the times he goes to the gym, he sees something he didn't plan to see.

He also revealed that, due to this trend, he stopped going to public gym because of his desire to “make heaven.”

He said, “Ladies how far? Should all the men not come to the gym again? Because it’s getting out of hand and becoming appalling, I don tire. Make una try to dey wear beta cloth come gym nau, what is this?

"There are men that have made up their minds to make the heavenly race and na una dey plenty for gym. Whoever that sells these clothes to you people, their shop go burn down because what is going on? Every single time one comes to the gym, wetin you no plan see you must see am.

"Una don make up una mind say no man in this Nigeria will make heaven but It won’t work because I’ve left the gym for una, I’ve set up a gym in my house because I cannot cope, I want to make heaven. You will have 20 people in the gym, 300 are women, doing exercises.

l was sleeping next to my wife when I got a notification from Facebook. I stood up to check; it was a friend request from a lady. I decided to go through her profile to know who she is. Finally, I found out that it was my old time school mate.

I accepted her friend request and I sent her a massage "Hello" since she was still online. She replied "Hi, I heard you are married with kids" I responded, "Yes". she said, I really love you and I'm willing to do whatever it takes just to be part of your life"

Hmmm, I quickly closed the chat to make sure my wife was sleeping.
I left the bed and sat on the chair that is in my bedroom.

I looked at my wife, she was deeply sleeping after the busy and exhausted day from work and house chores.

As I was still looking at her, something came into my mind. "This woman doesn't deserve to be cheated on, look at how safe and comfortable she's sleeping in our bedroom.

She really trusted me so much that I can't hurt her" I started thinking, " she left her family, her caring mother, her Dad who at all times was providing almost everything she needs and her siblings who always brighten her day and joined me in my one bedroom apartment leaving her dad's mansion.

All these thoughts and more was driving me crazy. Then I asked myself, "how can I do this wickedness to this innocent woman?" So I hurriedly picked up my phone and hit the "BLOCK" button.

I turned to my wife and I walked straight to the bed and cuddled her and she adjusted herself to accommodate me.

I can't afford to loose her trust or make her cry. NEVER!

I was able to do that because I am a "Real" man. Real men don't cheat on their wives. Real men don't make their wives cry. Real men don't make their wives regret Marrying them. Real men value their wives more than any other woman.
