Hi everyone 💫

It’s been a little while since I’ve been active on here, so I wanted to reintroduce myself…

I’m Missy, the face behind Bare Skin Clinic. Some of you will remember me from before as missyr aesthetics and some may be new so welcome 🤍

I’ve taken a step back over the past couple of years while navigating early menopause and taking some much needed time to focus on my health, my mindset, and finding myself again. It hasn’t been the easiest journey, but it’s brought me back stronger, more focused, and more passionate than ever about what I do.

With over 18 years in the beauty industry, Level 2, 3 & 4 in Beauty Therapy, Electrolysis and advanced aesthetics training, my passion has always been helping others feel confident in their own skin ✨

I’m now back and ready to rebuild, with a focus on:
• Skin rejuvenation
• Advanced aesthetic treatments
• Relaxing, results-driven treatments
• A calm, welcoming space where you can truly switch off

This isn’t just about beauty for me anymore, it’s about feeling good, inside and out 🤍

✨ A Little Update From Me… ✨

You may have noticed I’ve been a little quieter on here recently, and I wanted to share the exciting reason why. After completing my Level 4 Diploma university graded with a merit in Beauty Therapy, specialising in advanced treatments such as laser and skin rejuvenation, I’ve taken some time to reflect on the next step in my career and I’m so excited to share it with you.

Many of you already know that, alongside my beauty qualifications, I also have extensive experience working with SEN children and teens through working in primary, high school & post 16 settings. Supporting young people with additional needs has always been close to my heart, and over the past few months I’ve felt drawn to combine both my passions in a meaningful way.

So, beginning in 2026, I will be expanding into teaching, offering one-to-one and or two to one beauty lessons designed to provide a calm, supportive and confidence building learning environment. These lessons will be ideal for:

🌟 Teens with Special Educational Needs
🌟 Young people who experience anxiety or low confidence
🌟 Post-16 students who would benefit from learning at their own pace
🌟 Individuals who find large colleges overwhelming
🌟 Those with conditions such as ADHD, autism, or sensory sensitivities, who may need a quieter, more personalised setting.

The aim of these lessons is to give young people the chance to learn beauty skills without the pressure of crowded classrooms, loud environments or fast-paced group settings. Every session will be tailored to suit individual needs, offering patience, understanding and hands on guidance.

✨ And of course these lessons are open to absolutely everyone.
While my goal is to reach those who often feel overlooked or unable to access traditional training spaces, anyone who would like to learn beauty skills in a relaxed one-to-one setting is more than welcome.
