I’ve been getting lots of people coming in who have been recommended by existing clients. I just want to say thank you, you’re all bloody great.

I just want to say a massive Thank You to everyone who came to March for !
The day was so filled with love and I’m very proud to know such amazing people.

We want the salon to be inclusive and welcoming, so that everyone be themselves around us, without judgement. I hope you all know how lovely it is to see you come and support me and my friends and March for a better future.

Obviously the day wouldn’t have happened without the help of and . I’m very grateful for yet another wholesome pride.

Proper jealous of all you lot going to Download this week. I’ve had a fair few of you in for festival cuts and dye top ups. Got to do this last week on the lovely Laura. Her grey is gorgeous and all natural so we added a cheeky panel to compliment it cos we can.

Crazy colour/Adore over greys works a treat too, but be warned, it sadly doesn’t last as well as on bleached hair.

Ok, I am really s**t at advertising that I do weddings. 😂

I’ve been fortunate over the past year to do some close, long standing clients hair for their wedding day.

Hey Everyone,

I’ve been trying to hold off on doing this for a while now (and obvs having a meltdown) but ‘cozzie livs’ and all that means everything’s going up.

I’ll be putting my colour prices up by a little amount, and making some amends to the price list.

I still want to keep it affordable as possible but I don’t want to run myself in the ground anymore. This change will take effect from 1st may. If you have any questions feel free to message.

Let’s talk allergies/illness.

So some of you on here may be allergic to dye. Some of you on here may have chronic health conditions and may be on some strong medication. This can sometimes affect your hair health. Things such as Hormone imbalances, pregnancies, depression, stress etc can sometimes thin the hair and make it prone to breakage.

I will offer my advice and I do offer a permanent hypoallergenic hair dye service with Goldwell’s Elumen. This works for allergies but also is a good option when your hair isn’t in the healthiest position. It tints the hair rather than lifting it.

Emma came in with some breakage and she’s allergic to dye. Trusty Elumen came through and a decent cut helped loads. We did a full head foil highlights and Elumen as the yellow cancelling toner. (swipe for the before)

So we’re well into January now and I want to thank everyone for what has turned out to be a busy month. I know money is tight and it means the world that you choose to come and hang out with me.

I’ve had a fair few people this month come in and ask for things and be surprised that I will do it. You want a Bob with some longer coloured pieces at the front? GO FOR IT! You want an extreme mullet? I AM A FAN! A genderfluid cut? LETS HAVE IT! It’s your hair and however you choose to look this year I am 100% backing it 😂❤️

I apologise for the radio silence, I’ve been terrible at taking before and after photos. I’ve been looking through my phone this weekend and found so many good hair moments from last year, including this one. I will get to posting more, I promise. 😅

Today marks World Mental Health Day and I wrote something a while ago and thought I would say the sentiment still stands.

I wanted to create a salon that felt you were coming to get your hair done at a friends house. A personal, cosy salon where you are heard. Not only listening to what service you require but also getting to know your story. I’m grateful that you all speak to me, tell me what’s on your mind and how you’re feeling. I’m always here to listen, absolutely no judgement.

has settled into the salon nicely. She totally gets the ethos and is the most kind hearted soul. I’m very grateful to be working with her and I’m sure most of you who have met her completely agree she’s a wonderful human.

So, just to say we’re always here with an ear and a cuppa. I will also force feed you biscuits (it’s part of the service.)
If you’re going through it, you can also just come and sit in silence, we completely get it either way. It’s ok to not be ok.

Speak to us, speak to your friends and lessen the load.
