✨Venus was a boy ✨

From February to now I have been curating this gorgeous gallery of images, my concept “Venus was a boy” is the idea that Ancient Greek traditions didn’t have a place for the types of stereotypes and ridged gender norms we have today. In fact Greek gods and goddesses were portrayed as immortal beings with out gender up until the renaissance period, when male Artists like Bocelli, Michelangelo and Divinchi created goddess to depict their wives and set a standard of how they desired them to behave.
