No handed cradle spin ✨

A move that looks effortless… but absolutely has a personal vendetta against your tummy 😂

I’m mostly just happy I have actual video proof that I’ve done it because every time I hit this one my body is like “are we sure this is a good idea?” 🤣

Also… spot the tiny moment where I’m working out which hand comes off first 👀😂
Could have been a slightly dramatic error there!

The answer: bottom hand first ✅
(Definitely the kind of detail you want to remember before you’re upside down!)

Pole is such a funny mix of strength, technique and “wait… what was the plan again?” moments 😂

Proof captured. I survived. The tummy burn was real 🔥

A little sneak peek of next Friday’s Bollywood themed pole choreo ✨💃

This one has been extra special because I’ve had the help of one of my pole students, Remnik, who also teaches and performs Bollywood dance — bringing that extra flavour, style and energy into the choreography 🔥

I love mixing different movement styles into pole because it opens up new ways to move, express yourself and have fun with your dancing ✨

Back Hook ✨

A beginner move, but one that’s worth getting really solid from the start 👀

The secret is in the foundations:
✨ supporting arm stays straight
✨ shoulders stay engaged
✨ create that strong base before you worry about making it look pretty

It’s those little details that build confidence and make everything you learn next feel so much easier 💪

Simple doesn’t mean easy — it means mastering the basics 🔥

Flatline Scorpio ➡️ Football Grip Butterfly ✨

This transition is all about the connection 👀

The secret is in the order of the movement — keep contact as you lean down, get the arms in place, then switch the legs.

It’s such a small detail, but it’s what helps the transition feel controlled and smooth rather than like you’re trying to scramble through the change 🔥

A lot of the time the “hard” part of a move isn’t strength — it’s knowing what needs to happen first.

Break it down, find the connection, and let the movement flow ✨

Sneaking into Brass Sit ✨

This transition can feel a little awkward at first… but the secret is all in the knee hold 👀

Once you understand where to create that connection, the movement becomes so much smoother and you can let the body flow into the shape rather than fighting for it.

Also… I had to keep the background commentary in this one 😂🎧

The little “yeah!” moments from the class are honestly my favourite part — because this is what learning looks like. Trying, laughing, figuring it out together, and those lightbulb moments when something suddenly clicks 💕

A tutorial is great… but the class energy is where the magic happens ✨

Princess Grip Shoulder Mount 💫

This one can feel like it gives you an easier initial lift… but the “going over” part is where it often gets tricky ✨

✨ The secret is securing the grip properly first
✨ Don’t rush the lift before you feel stable
✨ Once the grip is locked in, the transition becomes much smoother and more controlled

If the entry feels easy but the finish feels messy, it’s usually the grip that needs organising first 💫

New blog is live.

Building something new always looks more polished from the outside than it feels on the inside.

Pride, progress, and the messy middle.

Static vs Moving Pirouette 💫

Same idea, two different approaches ✨

✨ Moving pirouette — allow the body to travel through the movement
✨ Static pirouette — pivot in place and control the rotation

The key is knowing when to move with the spin and when to stay centred

This time without the wardrobe malfunction… little brass monkey spinny combo….

✨ “I can walk much further without pain.” ✨

This is one of the lovely things Jennifer shared after completing The Effort Less Method.

She came to the course with lower back pain and sciatic nerve symptoms, and through learning a different way of moving, she noticed changes from the very first session.

The Effort Less Method isn’t about pushing harder or forcing your body.

It’s about understanding how your body is designed to move — helping you find more ease, better balance and more confidence in everyday movement.

Whether you feel stiff, tense, disconnected from your body, or simply want to understand movement on a deeper level… this course is for you.

The next 6 week course dates are being confirmed now.
