Dermaplane treatment

At no point during the treatment will the hair follicles/roots be affected in any way.
This is why it’s impossible for the hair to grow back thicker or darker after the procedure as when the vellus hair does grow back, it will only continue to regrow from the point where it was cut-off.
Dermaplaning is a manual form of exfoliation removing a build up of dead skin cells and the vellus hair, not a shave.

The reason you may feel like there is more hair may be because you are used to your smooth,exfoliated skin and 4 weeks can fly over so quickly for your next appointment.
