Angelic Beauty

Popped in to see the lovely Kath today, to make her nails look pretty. She was wearing bright pink, and so chose a colour to match... with the addition of glitter. I would expect nothing less.
Normally we do this in her room, but today we sat in the lounge area and we had a coffee together, which was a nice treat for me too. There's a lovely lady called Jane who does crafting with the residents there today also. I know how much Kath enjoys the crafting sessions, so I took her some of my own stash so that she can create some cards, no doubt with Jane's help. X 🩷☕️💅🎁

A new month and season begins. Life is always hectic with so many things to do. But it's okay to slow down and take time for yourself. Sometimes we need to relax and recharge. My regular visit to the care home to see Kath today. Awe the smile on her face when I walked through the door 🩷. We had some laughs together and I have my orders for the colour she wants next time. Her husband arrived so I tootled off to see a client from one of my other jobs. She's in a room a few doors down, recovering from major surgery last week. Awe and another big smile when I opened her door. She was quite emotional so we just held hands whilst I comforted her as she poured out how she felt 😞. By the time I had to go we were laughing and joking. Sometimes just a face you know helps to get you through those down days, bless her. Then off to care for my mum, and back for clients later......x ❤️

Popped in to see Kath this morning for her regular nail paint. Bless her, she was having a nap so I helped her out of bed onto her chair via her wheelchair. We had a giggle mainly at my expense 😜. I took her some craft bits from my craft business as she really enjoys making cards. So that's something she can look forward to. And now she has pretty nails to make her smile too. X ❤️
