The Massage Hub

I've started writing this post so many times, but it is so so hard... we said goodbye to our gorgeous boy Alfie in July.

He's been with me for all of my massage journey... when I quit my finance job, one of the first (best) things we did was get a puppy (cliche I know, but we live next to the woods & I could spend so much time with him).

He's been with me when I started my business at home, was our ring bearer when we got married. When the girls came along he immediately became their protector, and was always on hand to clean up any food spillages!

He has been with us on all of our holidays, my hot water bottle on our camping trips. The odd occasion he couldn't come with us, he got spoilt by grandma. My working days would always include a walk in the woods, a great way to chill out!

We loved him so much, we hoped he would live forever. But, heartbreakingly, we said goodbye in July. He is missed so so much, every day. Saying goodbye is most definitely the worst thing about owning a dog.

I have booked some dates in for July at Bramley Baths before the school holidays. I have the following appointments available:

🌻 Friday 15 July 9:15 & 10:45

These are one hour slots for holistic massage, deep tissue massage or pregnancy massage. Unfortunately I can't offer hot stones for these slots.

End of an era... bye bye Balcony Room 😢 It's been a fun, challenging four years!

🌟 The good news is I will be back at the Baths at some point for the odd day!

I am enjoying this week off with the kids. Once they're back at school I'll arrange some dates & let you know 😊

I am very sad to announce that I am closing The Massage Hub 😢 unfortunately rising rent and other costs means I have made this difficult decision.

I have loved my time up on the balcony and have met some wonderful clients. I had hoped that when it came time to leave the Baths I would have a plan B in place to continue, but unfortunately that is not the case. You never know, next year I might be working from a studio overlooking Bramley Falls, but for now, I am taking a break from massaging.

My last day will be 21 May, so book in now if you want an appointment before I close. If you can't find a time to suit send me a message & I will do my best to accommodate.

I've finished now for the long weekend & the sun has come out to celebrate 🌞

At least Alfie has moved on from the wanting to chase them stage & we can all be in the same room! He is always patient with the kids though, even when they're trying to dress him up in a tutu & bow 🤣

We've some birthdays coming up next month, the kittens will be one & Alfie will be the grand old age of 12 🎂
