šŸ“£ Imagine hesitating… I get it.
Starting something new is scary. Especially when it involves investing in yourself, putting yourself out there, and wondering if you’re actually capable of making it work.

But what if it does work out?

What if the thing you’ve been overthinking for months becomes the decision that changes your entire life?

My amazing student Davina put it off for years and regrets the hesitation.
She questioned herself.
Wondered if she was ready.
Worried about the money, the competition, whether she’d be ā€œgood enoughā€.

And yet… she started and has done amazing!

This is your reminder that confidence doesn’t come before the decision, it comes because of it.

Your future can change so quickly when you stop waiting to feel ready and finally back yourself. šŸ¤

šŸ“£ Beauty Pros you don’t have a timing problem, you have a fear problem. And that’s not an insult, it’s the truth most people avoid. 😬

Because ā€œit’s not the right timeā€ sounds responsible, ā€œthe market is saturatedā€ sounds informed, ā€œit’s too expensiveā€ sounds logical….

But all three fears keep you in the exact same place.

Watching.šŸ‘€
Overthinking.šŸ¤”
Waiting.ā³

Meanwhile, people with less experience, less skill and less certainty are out there building momentum, gaining clients and becoming fully booked.šŸ“ˆ

Not because they’re better, but because they started where they are.

The PMU industry hasn’t ā€œpassed you byā€. The opportunity is still there, it just doesn’t wait for you to feel ready anymore.

At some point you have to decide:
Do you want to stay comfortable, or do you actually want to move? Because realistically you can’t have both. āš–ļø

If this hit a nerve, it’s usually where the change starts to happen. 😊

DM me ā€œPMUā€ if you’re done sitting on the fence and we can chat about how to get started.

šŸ“£ It’s not about covering everything, it’s about choosing what will still look good in 2–3 years, not just 2–3 weeks.

Here is my opinion, the Pro’s & Cons on full coverage-v- a sheer blush…

PROS…

1. More uniform lip tone (initially)
You can create a more even, ā€œlipstick effectā€ result, especially appealing for clients who feel their freckles or pigmentation look patchy.

2. Stronger impact
Higher saturation = more definition and gives you more of that ā€œdoneā€ look.

3. Can neutralise uneven tones
If there’s cool/dark undertones alongside freckles, a full coverage approach can help balance the lip overall.

āø»

CONS…

1. Titanium dioxide (white based pigment) can give long-term unpredictability
To achieve a full coverage, especially lighter/nude tones, you often need pigments containing titanium dioxide. Over time, this can:

* Heal opaque or chalky
* Shift ashy/grey, especially in melanin rich or heavily pigmented lips
* Sit more on the surface, making fades look less natural

2. Freckles can come back through as the pigment softens and ages, because Lip skin is thin and translucent. Even if you ā€œcoverā€ freckles.

3. Ageing doesn’t always favour dense colour, as the lips age:

* Volume reduces
* Borders soften
A heavier, more saturated lip can start to look blocky or flat, rather than soft and natural.

4. Higher maintenance long term to keep that full coverage look:

* More frequent top ups are needed
* Colour corrections may be required if tones change (especially with lighter pigments)

5. Less flexibility if trends or preferences change, a dense, full coverage tattoo is harder to:

* Soften
* Adjust
* Or ā€œgo more naturalā€ later

So my conclusion is that a full coverage can look beautiful initially, but it’s not always the most sustainable choice, especially for clients with natural lip freckles or higher pigmentation.

We need to educate our clients first and foremost, rather than thinking, giving them what they ask for, is the main goal. Once they understand the science behind the techniques you’re more likely to have a happy loyal client.

šŸ“£ My absolute no1 piece of advice would be…

Have something in life for YOU. Beyond, a partner, beyond family, even beyond children.

Your identity, self worth, your future self relies on you in the present day.

YOU are your consistent.
YOU are the creator of your identity.
YOU are worth it.

Life is šŸ’Æ what you make it, so make it a bloody good one!

šŸ“£ Be honest, the hamster wheel working life takes its toll….

Long hours, running out of annual leave, maybe even a full diary of beauty clients but you still dread opening your banking app 🫣.

I’ve been there, got the T-shirt.

Where you invest a huge amount of your day SHOULD be somewhere that rewards you for your valuable time and hard work.

That’s where PMU changed everything for me. I invested in myself and learned a high value skill that took me out of that never ending cycle of simply ā€œgetting byā€.

This is exactly why I built my training academy, so that my life experiences and industry expertise can be the perfect roadmap for you to start to get ahead in life.

To give you back the freedom to take days off without asking for permission, to reduce your hours and not have to question everything you spend.

And fall in love with the transformations you give to others, the loyalty and appreciation from your clients is just amazing 🄹.

If you’re ready to step away from the hamster wheel and start living the life you really want, comment ā€œCAREERā€ and I’ll message you with all you need to get started šŸ¤

šŸ“£ Be honest, which one are you?šŸ¤”

And how many opportunities have you missed out on because you filter your choices through a price point?

Think about what the potential return is… what your learning will generate… šŸ“ˆ

Looks different doesn’t it šŸ‘€

It’s normal 😊

But don’t let this one question cloud your real potential ā™„ļø

šŸ“£ We see people showcase their achievements, but rarely see where they started.

Every single one of these students had a reason NOT to start. Some reasons more extreme than others. But the massive key here is that they backed themselves, they put in the work and are now buzzing with their achievements, as am I! šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ„¹

Fear, doubts and obstacles are there for all of us, but it’s the ones who face them and find ways to make their dreams happen that get to where they want to be šŸ’Æ.

I am so incredibly proud of ALL my students, this is just a small selection.

If you’re where they were, not fully satisfied with your work life balance and want to build your own creative business that you love. Then PMU can absolutely work for you, they’ve proved it (not just me) šŸ™ŒšŸ»ā˜ŗļø.

šŸ“£ A trainer always needs to keep doing the work to keep her techniques fresh.

An old faded out pigment meant we could recreate something different.

Some texture where there wasn’t any.

A multi-tonal effect with 2 different needle choices. All added depth and dimension.

Hanafy Hairstrokes 1&2, Ocean Heart & Kwadron medium taper needles.
