Over the last 20 years working as a makeup artist, I’ve learnt that people remember how you made them feel just as much as how you made them look 🤍
I’ve calmed nervous brides, helped women feel like themselves again after years of putting themselves last, worked with changing skin, hormonal skin, tired skin… and everything in between.
Experience gives you more than makeup skills. It gives you the ability to really see people, to know what works, what doesn’t, and how to make someone feel comfortable in their own skin.
So whether you’re sitting in my chair for your wedding day, a makeup lesson or a facial… you’re in safe hands ✨

Sometimes the women who sit in my chair bring far more than skincare concerns or makeup questions.
They bring exhaustion.
Loss of confidence.
The feeling of not quite recognising themselves anymore.
And often, before anything else, they simply need space.
A calm moment.
A place where they can exhale.
The “empty chair” theory reminds us that a chair can hold so much more than a person.
It can hold emotion, change, grief, pressure, transition… and eventually, healing too.
That’s why what I do has never just been about skin or makeup for me.
It’s about helping women reconnect with themselves again — softly, gently, without judgement.
Sometimes confidence begins in the quietest moments.
In a peaceful room.
A caring touch.
A conversation.
A moment where you finally feel seen again. 🤍

What’s one thing you wish the beauty industry talked about more when it comes to women over 40?
For me, it’s how much confidence in our skin affects how we feel day to day 🤍
So many women I see are juggling everything and everyone else, while quietly feeling disconnected from themselves. Hormone changes, skin changes, faces change… and sometimes confidence goes with it.
I honestly don’t think women need more pressure to “fix” themselves.
I think we need more care. More softness. More spaces where we can just exhale for a minute.
That’s always what I want women to feel when they come to me. Comfortable. Supported. Seen. Like they can relax and just be looked after for once 🤍

Every treatment I offer begins here 🤍
Before you even arrive at my studio, I’ve already designed a bespoke plan for your appointment — tailored entirely to you.
Your skin.
Your lifestyle.
Your time.
Your priorities.
No guesswork. No one-size-fits-all. No trends for the sake of it.
Just a carefully considered approach that supports your skin in a way that feels simple, realistic… and effective.
Because when your skincare is tailored properly, everything feels easier — and your skin reflects it.
If you’re ready for a more personalised, considered approach to your skin, send me “SKIN” 🤍.
Red skin girlies… I see you 🤍
If you’re dealing with rosacea, sensitivity or constant redness, you’ll know this already…
Skincare can only do so much.
And sometimes foundation + concealer just doesn’t quite cut it.
That’s exactly where Calm & Correct comes in.
It’s one of those products that just works:
– you can wear it on its own
– under foundation
– or even over the top
…and it instantly helps neutralise redness without looking heavy.
But the bit I love the most?
It’s not just makeup.
It’s packed with calming ingredients, so while you’re wearing it, you’re actually supporting your skin too 🤍
Perfect for:
✨ those little areas you can never quite cover
✨ redness around the nose/cheeks
✨ even breakouts (just dab and go)
If you’re a red-skin girly… this is definitely one to try.
Message me if you want help shade matching or seeing how to use it properly 💌

Self-care Sunday 🤍
Today can feel triggering for lots of people, for all sorts of reasons. If today feels a little heavy for you, please know you’re not alone 🤍
Whenever life feels a bit wobbly, I always come back to the same thing — grounding myself in the small things that support my mind, body and nervous system.
Nothing complicated. Just simple daily practices that help me feel more like me again.
Here are five things that really help me:
1 🤍 Meditation
I use the Insight Timer app and honestly, daily meditation has changed me. Even just 5 minutes a day can create a little pocket of calm before the busyness of life takes over.
2 🤍 Walking in nature
A good walk outside always resets me. Fresh air, moving my body, noticing the seasons… it helps settle my nervous system and clear my mind.
3 🤍 A simple skincare ritual
This is something I talk about a lot with my facial clients. Slowing down to cleanse and massage your skin isn’t just about skincare — it’s a moment of self-care and connection with yourself.
4 🤍 Journalling a few gentle thoughts
Nothing deep or complicated. Sometimes I just write how I’m feeling, one thing I’m grateful for, and one small thing I need that day.
5 🤍 Connection
A chat with someone you trust, a walk with a friend, or even sending a message. We’re not meant to carry everything on our own.
Small things.
Simple things.
But they make a big difference 🤍
Take gentle care of yourself today.

One of the biggest things I’ve learnt in my 40s is that skin doesn’t suddenly “go downhill”.
It just changes.
I’ve always loved skincare and makeup and have taken good care of my skin for years. But in my mid 30s I discovered that I actually had rosacea, which explained why my skin would sometimes feel reactive, flushed or sensitive.
That was a real turning point for me in understanding my skin properly.
Over the last few years, what has made the biggest difference hasn’t been complicated routines or constantly trying new products.
It’s been much simpler than that:
Consistency.
Hydration.
Supporting my skin barrier.
When we reach our 40s our skin often needs a gentler, more supportive approach — and sometimes our makeup needs to change too.
Not because we’re doing anything wrong, but because our skin simply isn’t the same as it was in our 20s or 30s.
The good news is that when you understand your skin and use the right products for it, it really can feel healthy, comfortable and glowing at any age.
This is exactly what I love helping other women understand in my skincare consultations, facials and makeup sessions 🤍

I joined for the starter kit and the discount (a lot of Ambassadors are the same!), but stay for all the other reasons (mainly to help other women with their own skincare journey).
