From 1st June, prescribing regulations change, meaning face to face prescribing is the only way we are able to obtain your prescription treatments. (The most popular being Anti Wrinkle treatment)

This means you will need to book on to a prescribing clinic day (which will be announced with plenty of notice) where you will have a face to face appointment with our prescriber.

Once you have your prescription, it is valid for one treatment for anytime within a 6 month period.

💚 What's the difference?

A lip flip is where the muscle surrounding the mouth is relaxed using tox injections. This results in increased visibility of the lip as the muscle pulling the lip inward is relaxed.

Lip filler is the placement of dermal filler in the lip to add volume and enhance or change the shape of the natural lip resulting in a more dramatic enhancement.

💚Who are they best suited for?

Depending on your anatomy and goals you may be more suited to one over the other. However, they can also be used together to produce a beautiful result.

Filler and Botox are different and can be complimentary.

Both are popular cosmetic treatments, but they serve different purposes and work in distinct ways:

✨Botox~

Purpose: Botox is a neurotoxin that temporarily paralyzes muscles. It is primarily used to treat dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle movement, for example crow's feet, forehead lines, and frown lines.
However, it also has other uses such as enhancing your natural features (for example lifting your brows or creating the appearance of bigger lips), reducing teeth grinding or managing excessive sweating.

• Duration: The effects typically last 3-4 months.

✨Fillers (hyaluronic acid)~

Purpose: Dermal fillers are used to restore volume, fill in wrinkles, and enhance facial features (more so than Botox can). They are often used to reduce static wrinkles (wrinkles that are visible even when the face is at rest) such as nasolabial folds, replace volume loss in areas like the cheeks and, to manipulate the appearance of natural features such as your nose profile or your lips.

• How it works: Fillers add volume under the skin, which can smooth out wrinkles, plump up areas and contour the face.

• Duration: Depending on the type of filler, results can last from 6 months to 2 years or longer.

💚In short, Botox targets muscle movement while fillers add volume.
