2 years on….

I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am for every single client who has supported me, trusted me, recommended me, sat in my chair, laughed with me and continued to come back time after time.

Building Hair by Diana Elizabeth has been one of the biggest and most rewarding journeys, and none of it would have been possible without you all. From busy salon days to home visits, every appointment means so much to me.

Thank you for supporting my small business, for keeping me busy doing what I love, and for being part of this journey with me. 🤍

This Wednesday is National Hairdressers Mental Health Awareness Day. 🤍

An industry built on connection, conversation and caring for others can sometimes forget to care for the people behind the chair too.

Hairdressers, barbers and beauty professionals often carry far more than people realise.
Long hours. Emotional conversations. Pressure to keep smiling. The expectation to always “keep going.”

Sadly, we’ve lost talented people within our industry because they didn’t receive the understanding, support or safe spaces they needed.

This post is for them.
And for every professional currently struggling silently behind a smile.🤍

It’s time we normalise support just as much as success.
Checking in.
Listening without judgement.
Creating healthier boundaries.
Reminding each other that asking for help is not weakness.
