✨ B R I D A L I N S P O ✨.manisha ✨ MUA: ✨ HAIRSTYLIST: ✨ PHOTOGRAPHER: Every girl needs some wedding inspired… wedding planning can be really stressful, especially when you have an image of exactly how you’d want to look like, how you want your colour theme to feel like, what song you’d love you walk into and etc… For my flower bouquet and for my bridesmaid bouquet I opted for artificial flowers, which both me and my mother in law made together, it makes you feel like you’ve got it sorted, and you can get your creative side out too, we went to a artificial flower shop, and selected big to medium flowers and put them together, this was cost effective for those looking and trying to stay on a small/ tight budget (weddings can be super expensive) My jewerelly was gifted to me on my Indian wedding day, which I made good use out of, like they say, something blue, something borrowed, something old, this was great because I wanted to have a dainty bracelet, dainty earrings and dainty necklace, which would compliment my neckline on my dress I looked EVERYWHERE! For a dress which would compliment me, and would make me go “wow” the moment I saw it, I wanted something fairly girly, and still pretty, but still something white, luckily, I came across my wedding dress which had a trail, and a corset top part, which had sequins, pearls, and floral prints! Which is exactly me! The neckline and the tube style was exactly what I wanted to make the shoulders and collar bones flattering My makeup, I wanted as simple as possible, but making me still feel comfortable without my makeup melting off throughout the day, for me my eyes were important! My MUA made sure that was delivered… and it was delivered (review on previous post) My hairstylist did exactly what I wanted, I had short hair on my wedding (after my Indian wedding) and I didn’t know what to do or how to style it, the hairstylist kept it sweet and simple, and she understood the assignment ✨ Wedding Dress: .co.uk ✨ Jewerelly: (gifted)

What a stunning bride!!
Monica didn’t book me in for a trial and trusted my work, she wanted a clean, very simplistic and natural look for her civil wedding, and my… was she glowing✨

Here are a few things to look out for when you have your bridal trial and consultation: 1) polite and friendly manner! Is your MUA polite and friendly, and taking what you say into consideration? And are they easy to approach?
This shows just how much the MUA respects your decisions
2) are they professional? And have they asked you about your skin concerns? Any allergies? What products are you currently using? And is it ok for the MUA to use something of yours?
This is important as on the day you want to stay well away from anything that would irritate your skin and cause you to feel uncomfortable, upset, and cause breakouts, anything that would affect your health is a massive no!
3) has the MUA asked you if there any more questions you’d like to ask? This shows a keen interest, and keeps you feeling reassured that you’ve selected the right person who is willing to cater to your needs
4) most MUA will ask what colour of your outfit/ outfits are in order to plan for your makeup looks, ensuring the bride looks perfect for their occasions, and if anything does change then to drop them a message, asking the bride what would they like instead?
5) take into consideration if the bride wears contact lenses or not, these would be much preferred to be applied at the start, before makeup application to avoid any water eyes
6) does your MUA have a S.O.S emergency kit ready for you? This is to make sure the bride has the same lipstick to retouch throughout the morning/ day as the bride will be eating and drinking, is there any eyelash glue? This is to make sure the inner and outer corners are glued properly, the bride may get emotional and the tears would make the eyelash come off from the edges, is there a blotting sheet? Or a blotting powder? Natural sweat is normal to be present after a long day

I had saved 1000’s of pictures and had a clear vision in my head on exactly what I wanted! Ideally, I wanted a traditional look with the traditional reds, but trust me when I tell you! I would strongly advice for bride to be’s to try outfits on, ask the shop keepers their opinions, and take at least 3-4 trusted women in your life to help you select. It’s also really important when booking for your makeup trials, you make it very clear on what your skin type is. If you have a oily/ combination skin, I would strongly advice to stay away from illuminating primers, glowy primers and no highlighters to the nose area… this will only cake your makeup, and leave you looking like a greasy hot mess! … not flattering what so ever…
When you have your makeup trials, make sure you have a couple of ideas, ask for your makeup artists opinions, although they may know what’s best, only you’d know what your skin type is…

My own bridal makeup was very neutral, with a hint of shimmer in the centre of the eyelid which I fell in love with💖
As a bride, it is really important to know which features compliment your face shape, and what you’d like to have on your face. Mine was my eyes. My eyes were the most important feature for my bridal makeup, who ever knows me, knows that I cannot live without my eyemakeup! And it’s also important to know and understand which compliments your skin tone too…

Nita booked me in for a makeup trial for her daughters wedding, and she wanted something that still allows her to look like herself, but radiant, and something that would last all day and compliment her outfit
The look turned out exactly how we had expected it to be on the actual day

Anjanas bridal look was a vibe❤️!!
We kept her base looking as natural as possible but still allowing her to look radiant, her facial features were stunning and this looked amazing on Anjana, sticking with the classic Indian bridal look which complimented her stunning outfit perfectly❤️
