Tuesday at Space to Breathe - Electronic Beats Breathwork Journey
6.15pm - 7.45pm

Music has a way of reaching the places that words often can’t.
A single song can transport us back to a memory, shift our mood, move us to tears, or fill us with energy. It has the ability to quiet the thinking mind, awaken emotion, and connect us to something much deeper within ourselves.

This Tuesday, I’ll be guiding you through a Conscious Connected Breathwork journey accompanied by a carefully curated playlist of electronic, house, dubstep and tribal music.

Conscious Connected Breathwork offers us the opportunity to connect with the subconscious mind, where many of our beliefs, emotions and experiences are stored. When combined with music, it can become an incredibly immersive experience, helping us move beyond words and into feeling. It creates space to release what no longer serves us, reconnect with ourselves, and cultivate greater self-love, acceptance and inner freedom.

Whether you’re drawn to the driving beats of electronic music or simply curious to experience breathwork in a different way, this promises to be an energising, cathartic and deeply transformative evening.

Please note: This journey is a little more intense than my regular sessions and is best suited to those who have already experienced Conscious Connected Breathwork. If you’re completely new to the practice, I’d recommend attending one of my softer sessions first so you can build a solid foundation before joining this style of journey.

Wow! I’ve had the most beautiful weekend filled with sunshine, love, and connection to celebrate the Summer Solstice ☀️

Here’s just a little snippet from last night at
Thank you for the wonderful Despacho ceremony and soundbath. For a change I only took a few snaps, but I loved seeing so many friends, and being fully immersed in the ceremony 💛☀️🌀

This workshop is an opportunity to slow down and gently meet whatever you’re carrying. Through self-enquiry, somatic practices and breathwork, we’ll create space for emotions to move, for stories to be witnessed and for grief to be held with compassion rather than rushed or fixed.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of something recently, or perhaps for a long time, you’re warmly welcome.

Ever noticed how much better you feel after a really good poo?

You know the one.

You’ve been carrying something around for a while, feeling a bit uncomfortable, a bit heavy, a bit sluggish... and then finally...

*Release*

Suddenly there’s more space.
More ease.
You feel lighter.
Clearer.
More like yourself again.

Breathwork can be a bit like that.

Not because you’ll necessarily spend the session on the toilet (although strange things have happened 😂), but because so many of us are carrying things around that were never meant to stay stuck inside.

Stress.
Grief.
Anger.
Worry.
Old emotions.
The pressure of just being human.

We hold it in our bodies, often without even realising.

Breathwork creates a space for some of that to move.

Sometimes it’s tears.
Sometimes laughter.
Sometimes a sigh that feels like it’s been waiting years to come out.

And afterwards?

People often say they feel lighter.
Softer.
Clearer.
Like they’ve put something down.

A bit like after a really satisfying morning poo.

The comparison may not be glamorous, but honestly... it’s not far off.

If you’re carrying grief, loss, change, or simply feeling the weight of life right now, I’ll be holding a gentle Breathing With Grief session at EkoJoe this Sunday 21st June, 11am–1pm.

A space to bring whatever you’re carrying, hold it gently, and allow what needs to move to move.

Limited spaces available. ❤️

Such a simple exercise which can support the body through times of grief and emotional turbulence.
It’s not about trying to banish the emotion, but giving yourself a moment to feel, breathe and allow the feelings to work through the body.
This exercise sometimes makes me cry, and it’s important to allow whatever expression needs to arise. But then gently come back to the breath. Feel your hand on your heart 🤍 Maybe just ask yourself “what do I need right now?”

Let me know in the comments how you found this exercise.

If your grief needs a more supportive touch, I’ll be holding space at on Sunday, 11am-1pm
Spaces are limited, you can find the booking link on Eko Joes insta bio x

Here are some examples of how grief can show up. Often it’s much broader than just feeling sad:

💧Sadness or tearfulness
😡Irritability, frustration, or anger
🌑Feeling numb or disconnected
😕Anxiety, worry, or fear
😔Guilt or regret
💢Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
😓Exhaustion or low energy
🛏️Changes in sleep (sleeping more or less)
🍕Changes in appetite
🍻Withdrawing from people or social situations
🧹Feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks
⛔️Restlessness or feeling unsettled
💊Relief (especially after a difficult period of caregiving or suffering)
💔Longing, yearning, or missing someone or something deeply
☹️Loss of motivation or interest in things you once enjoyed
🫀Physical sensations such as heaviness in the chest, tightness in the throat, headaches, or aches and pains
😭Unexpected emotional waves triggered by memories, places, songs, or anniversaries

It’s also worth remembering that grief doesn’t only come from the loss of a loved one. It can arise from the end of a relationship, a change in identity, loss of health, fertility challenges, moving away from home, children growing up, career changes, or letting go of a version of yourself.

Grief is deeply individual, and there is no “right” way for it to look. Sometimes it arrives as tears, and sometimes it arrives as exhaustion, anger, busyness, numbness, or a feeling that something just isn’t quite right. 💛

It feels like a bit of a paradox, but great things can sometimes come from loss. There’s always a silver lining of sorts, even if you don’t see it straight away.

If your grief needs space to be felt, seen and just to be. There are still spaces available on Sunday 21st June at
11am - 1pm
