A great big THANK YOU to every bride, bridal party member and industry colleague I've had the pleasure of working with over the last 10 years and to every friend or family member who has supported me along the way. It feels odd to say that I will be taking a break from makeup and Blushing Orchid as it feels like a huge part of my identity, 💜 but after a long time of indulging in this wonderful passion, alongside a full time commitment, it's time for me to take a break. I'm sure I'll be back at some point 😉 but for now...A lie in on a Saturday morning, what's that then?!

Wow, the last month has been a whirlwind! I've been inundated with wedding makeup requests for the next 12 months which is really exciting and wonderful to see the world open back up again, but this lovely job I have the pleasure of doing is something I do alongside a full time job. So unfortunately I just don't have the capacity to take on any more weddings over the next year 💜 Personal wellbeing is something that is really important to me and I need to keep some time free for myself. So a HUGE thank you to all my lovely brides I've booked in and for everyone else, I hope you find an amazing MUA soon x

2021 marks 10 years of me as a Professional Makeup Artist and when Blushing Orchid began! It's absolutely flown by. Coincidentally it's also the year I turn 30. I've met and had the pleasure of making up hundreds of bridal parties - so many in fact that I've lost count! I have also loved meeting and working alongside so many professionals in the wedding industry who so sadly have had it remarkably tough in the last 12 months. I've always kept bridal makeup as my sideline, a pick me up at weekends to make people feeling amazing and be part of so many special days. It really is the most incredible job. For others it's their entire livelihood and I am so looking forward to seeing the industry flourish again. Here's hoping that 2021 is that year 💜 Thanks & cheers to every bride and industry friend that I've made along the way that's made these last 10 years so amazing.
