Let's talk Mental Health......

I am no stranger to this subject and I feel I could most defiantly play a part in helping with offering some relief.
Reflexology is a good place to start, with all those reflexes in your feet or hands that are just dying to be worked on. The sense of wellbeing that reflexology can bring to the body and mind is a brilliant place to start.

*Disclaimer my experience some might find triggering*

My journey with Mental Health started back in 2021 with small but significant sensations. I experience pulling in the back of my head for what seems no apparent reason. This then moved in to the sensation that my tongue was swelling. I had hoped that these sensations would just fall by the way side....but they didn't. The next sensation travelled to my chest on the left side. This had been going on for weeks and weeks to which my MIND could no longer rationalise the feeling and sensations. I then found myself in full on panic mode. Heart palpations, dizzy feelings and full on loss of control of my body. The assault on your body can be totally disorientating and a sense of being mad will spring to my mind. I have two young children and I didn't want them to see this happening to me, as it is fighting for me togo though, as it is for them to see. I put my Mental Health down to health anxiety and the worry that something is wrong with me when all these sensations could not be explained. Over time I have managed to clear my mind into a better head space by using technics. Such as box breathing and meditation which have helped. I am not out the other side yet as I do still have days where I am not the best version of myself. I do find comfort in helping others. I find it is also restorative for me as it is for my client.
My apologies for perhaps over sharing but I feel it's good to talk.
