Safety always comes first here at SK!! Before anything we will make sure you are as safe as possible. Today while preforming chin filler I experienced my first positive aspiration this means that we was in an artery. If we had not been safe and aspirated then we would of injected filler into this artery and blocked the blood from passing through. This is the first positive aspiration I have experienced in a year of injecting. Before letting anyone treat you please check that they actively aspirate in all areas of the face! To conclude we pulled out of this area, changed the syringe and injected into another site again checking the area was safe. We gave the client the full aftercare as always and checked the blood flow in the area (capillary refill) and will regularly check to make sure there are no changes over the next few days.
