And just like that...I've finished my last appointment on Cliffview Farm in little old Bettie 😪

Thank you to all that have supported me and then went on to even bring me leaving cards and gifts. Not writing more than that, as just writing that is making me cry 🥲

But in short, I'll miss each and everyone of you. Thank you again 💕

Can't remember the last time I posted a plain nude...or if I even have!

With getting the new house keys, getting ready to move and finish up work, I've really slacked with taking photos and uploading. I don't normally post plain nails, not because I don't like them, but you usually find people rotate their top 10 colours...but here are some!

A massive change for myself and That Beauty Doll...we are moving!

It was half an easy decision and half a very hard one, the opportunity to have my own home and to not have to drive an hour and a half to see Martyn most weeks was a no brainer. However it also means moving 2 hours away from family and friends, some friends also being my clients. Some of which have supported me for 5 years, visiting every couple of weeks for at least an hour they have become more than clients to me, infact all regulars have.

At one point I was even thinking I'd come back every three weeks mobile for a few months for that reason, my group of regulars i have now are such a great bunch who support me and my work.

So after many tears and worry of if I was going to upset anyone by letting them know of this change, they have had nothing but kind words to say (even if they are miffed I've stood them up for a man 😏😂) and I can't thank them enough, as it's made it easier as I transition to somewhere new.

So thank you and goodbye to my Lincolnshire lot, but if you follow me and you're in West Yorkshire, look out for a old caravan popping up somewhere soon!

A chance to refresh on any updated techniques and knowledge, but I've also trained in something new! Hard gel!

I currently offer rubber based gel, builder gel, and full cover extensions. But I have thought offering hard gel would be a great addition for particular clients, to create either a durable overlay or extension, where a soft gel isn't as hard wearing for their lifestyle.

Did you know I've also trained and qualified in Acrylic and Acrygel/Polygel nail enhancements in the past?

Training course number one done today with Nail Couture Lincoln, Nails and Training using the Colour Couture Gel Polish great to refresh and to update my techniques...will be back in a couple of weeks to train in something completely new!

Im currently having a massive flare up with my chronic illnesses, but managed to get in to do the third year in a row set of WBD nails for an early years teacher.

Not my usual standard, but considering she kept telling me I was getting paler by the minute half way through the nails and that I matched my white t-shirt by the end of it I don't think I did too bad!

Can I do neat precise work quite easily? Yes!

Can I work in a more painterly style easily? Well yes and no!

I can work with precision and painting tiny line without much thought, but surprisingly, give me a design that is more free and I have to really focus to loose some of that control and to trust the process.
