To train station to meet Phil Anderson…
All aboard & off to Doncaster…
Met up with the Cleethorpes Crew … for a swift drink in the Draughtsman Ale House … then on to the Catholic Club for a Fabulous afternoon of NS music & a few 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Great to meet up with friends & make new ones!!!! # # # then 6pm all done back to train n home # # # 🥰🎵🎼🎶🎼🎵🥰❤️

Did you know❓

It is likely that the first East Gate was a wooden construction built in 1068 when the Castle was first created. It is also likely that the first stone East Gate was built in around 1113.

In the 13th century, probably after the Second Battle of Lincoln, the East Gate was strengthened. Two towers were attached to the front of the Norman work and connected to two outer towers by high stone walls to create a barbican.
