A customer had got in touch with an issue on a dro system fitted to their Metosa lathe, the cross slide had a Newall Mycrosyn fitted this had been severely damaged. We supplied and fitted a new fibre rod and reading head/encoder was working ok thankfully.

Customer had an issue with the Yaxis on their DRO system, the scale was removed and checked, internally the scale had signs of debris as the lip seals had failed. Supplied and fitted a new EMS magnetic MG232 scale assembly with adaptor cable to suit Acu-Rite DRO.
