HI I’M SOPHIE.. YOUR SKIN’S BEST FRIEND 👋🏼

I thought I’d jump on an reintroduce myself and share some things for you to get to know me better ☺️💕

I started out many years ago as a Dental Nurse and it was a job I absolutely loved. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m one of those weird people who loves anything stomach turning. Dr Pimple Popper gives me life!!! 😂 I am also a insanely busy mum of three so I’m rarely ever still 🤣

About three years ago I turned my passion for peoples skin and mental health into a business and started the skin specialist.

Fast forward to today and my dream is now a reality. We offer everything from facials to microneedling to anti wrinkle injections. It is our ultimate mission to help people maintain healthy, beautiful skin. With that we only use high quality products that are proven to get results.

I am based at the amazing working alongside the best team. There’s never a dull moment.

Life can be hard and it’s really easy for self care to be put to one side when things get hectic. As someone who has suffered with my mental heath I know too well the importance of taking time for yourself. I’ve also battled with the mum guilt more times that I can remember. A couple of years ago I was in a dark place. Doing things like going to the gym, practicing mindfulness and looking after myself has been key for me. I have brought this into my facials to give people an hour to relax and unwind and escape from the world 🌎

My treatments are all carried out using Medik8 products and include the most amazing facial massage where you can switch off and focus on the now. Not only do you walk out with glowing skin but you’ll have reset on the inside too.

The menopause is a natural part of the ageing process for women, but – as we all know – the symptoms can be challenging. Most women experience symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats and mood changes but some also notice a difference in their skin.

As we age, our skin changes. This is largely because of falling levels of collagen, the protein that gives structure to the skin, and helps with wound healing and muscle repair. Loosing collagen will results in a loss of softness, plumpness and elasticity over time.
