The house has been extra quiet — Ste’s away with the lads, Sid’s out with his mates and Sadie’s off with her cousin… so it’s been a girls’ day for two 👩‍👧✨

As she sat at the table eating her lunch, I just stopped for a moment and looked at her — it made me pause, think, and capture the moment 🥹💫

Time really does fly — one minute they’re tiny and attached to your hip, and the next they’ve got plans of their own!

So today was all about slowing down, and making the most of our little moments together 🩷

A Little Late… But Worth the Share ✨💙
Life got busy (as it does!), so I missed posting on Nursing Day — but this moment, and this memory, absolutely deserves to be shared.

This photo is me and my bestie at the very start of our nursing journey — just 18 and 16 years old — joining a pilot cadet scheme designed to bring nurses back into the profession. It’s been over 20 years since we first put on those uniforms… and wow, what a journey it’s been. 👩‍⚕️💫

She’ll probably kill me for posting this photo (sorry in advance!) 😘— but I’m so proud of where we started, and even prouder of everything we’ve achieved since.

From nervous teenagers to confident nurses, through every shift, every challenge, and every life lesson — we’ve done it all together. 💗

Our friendship has seen tears, triumphs, promotions, babies, marriage house renovations — and a whole lot of laugh-til-you-cry moments.

I couldn’t have done it with anyone else by my side.

To every nurse out there — thank you for the heart, care and compassion you give every single day. And to my bestie — love you always! Here’s to us and the journey we’ve shared.💗💙

I have just got back from a run —to clear my head, to move my body, to take care of myself.

And while doing something positive for me, two grown arse men drove past on park lane and shouted at me

“Look at the t**s on her.” - it’s embarrassing I expect it from kids ( they are immature ) not grown arse men!! WHat would your mothers think 🤔

It’s demeaning, it’s objectifying, and it’s something far too many women experience when simply existing in public spaces.

I shouldn’t have to alter my route, my outfit, or my mindset just to avoid comments like this.
