Stop washing your hair extensions every time you wash your hair…. Here’s why:
1. Keep Your Extensions Looking Fresh For Longer:
Constant washing can make your extensions wear out faster meaning they it wont be long til your throwing them away and spending hundreds again on new hair! Looking after your hair saves you money 💰
2. Save Time on Your Hair Routine:
Who has time for all that washing, drying, and styling 3 times a week? Not me! Wash your extensions less frequently and use a leave-in conditioner to keep them soft and manageable. Seriously, it’s a game changer!
3. Avoid Tangling and Matting:
Extensions can get super tangled with too much washing. Brush them gently every day and try braiding your hair before bed to keep them smooth and tangle-free.
4. Protect Your Own Hair from Damage:
Washing too often can weaken the bonds, loosen beads & braids and can cause breakage. All that pulling on your hair isn’t good so skip out washing the extensions to avoid this.
5. Keep Your Natural Hair Healthy:
It’s not all about hair extensions, your natural hair will benefit too. Frequent washing can strip your scalp of natural oils, making it dry and irritated. Give your scalp a break and nourish it with a light oil or scalp treatment instead.
By following these tips, you’ll keep your extensions looking gorgeous and make your hair care routine so much easier. 💁♀️✨

Dear fellow hairstylists,
Let’s talk about something that’s been lingering in the shadows of our chairs: imposter syndrome. It’s that nagging feeling that we’re not good enough, that we don’t belong in this vibrant, creative world of hair.
But here’s the truth: every single one of us, from the fresh-faced apprentice to the seasoned salon veteran, has felt it at some point. We’ve stood behind our chairs, scissors in hand, and wondered if we’re truly worthy of the title ‘hairstylist.’
The pressure to be flawless, to create magic with every snip and stroke, can be overwhelming. Especially when we’re just starting out, navigating the twists and turns of this industry can feel like stumbling through a maze with no map.
But here’s the secret: there’s beauty in the journey, in the mistakes we make and the lessons we learn along the way. Every misplaced curl, every colour mishap, is a stepping stone to growth and mastering your art.
So to my fellow hairstylists who may be grappling with imposter syndrome, know this: YOU ARE NOT ALONE, You are part of a COMMUNITY of artists, each with their own story of triumphs and trials. And while the road ahead may seem daunting at times, remember that you have the passion, the talent, and the drive to succeed.
Embrace your journey. Embrace the imperfections, the setbacks, and the moments of self-doubt. Because it’s through these experiences that we truly find our voice, our style, and our confidence behind the chair.
You belong here, in this world of hair. Own it. Embrace it. And let your creativity soar.
