It’s always a great feeling giving Watsu and having that person be relaxed through the medium of water 💧

🩵There’s something I’ll never stop being slightly obsessed with… Basic Watsu, water therapy, dynamic stretching and simply floating. 💙 Living with hypermobility and hip dysplasia means I have to work with my body, not against it. The water gives me that space. It supports my joints, allows safe movement, gentle release, and helps me strengthen without strain. But it’s more than physical. Just like surfing, when I’m in the water… I switch off. The noise quietens. The nervous system softens. I’m held, supported, present. After three bruising battles in the Dewar Shield, our boys have earned a breather this week. 💪This evening’s light session was all about skills, smiles, and recovery — we’re finishing it off with a well-deserved trip to the baths. 🛁🥶

The free week was planned well in advance to let the squad recharge their batteries ahead of the next block of fixtures. Player welfare is at the heart of everything we do. ❤️🏉
