If you have medium length hair you only need 100g of powder🕺 And if you have shorter hair then just reseal the bag for your next application.

We recommend that all of our products are stored in a cool, dry place. This is 100% organic material so if you leave it in a humid or hot environment then it won’t last as long.

Please note that this guide is for an average thickness of hair, if you have very thick hair then you may need more 💚

What if self-care felt like a ritual and not a checklist? An opportunity to connect with self and regulate.

In ancient times beauty regimes were carried out with intention and purpose. When did that all change? And what can we re-learn from our ancestors?

🌸 Flower baths were used for spiritual cleansing, not just beauty. In ancient Egypt, bathing in water infused with flowers, oils, and herbs was believed to purify both the body and spirit — not just soften the skin.

🍯 Cleopatra was famous for ritual bathing
Cleopatra is said to have bathed in milk and honey to maintain soft skin — lactic acid in milk naturally exfoliates, making this one of the earliest recorded “chemical exfoliants.” She also used henna!

🌼 Floral infusions symbolised femininity and renewal
In Ancient Greece, women bathed in rose and herb-infused water before ceremonies — connecting beauty with divine femininity.

Now the beauty industry priorities fast and immediate results, but we often don’t stop to consider the longterm effects.

When we rush through life the small, delicate details can be overshadowed by the bigger ones, softness superseded by a harsher impatience.

If you have a moment today, make it yours 💚🌺🫶🏼

🛑✋🛑 Stop washing your henna or any plant hair dyes out with shampoo you really don’t need it! It’s not only unneccessary but also damaging the longevity of your colour.

Do this instead:

🌼1. Wash your hair and scalp thoroughly before application. This gives you a fresh surface for the dye to stick to. No oils, no products and no conditioner if you can (at least in the mid and top sections)

🌼 2. Apply your paste to clean hair. The herbs will have direct contact with your hair and scalp and be able to pass over their nourishing benefits and dye molecules more effectively

🌼 3. Rinse with cold-warm water only! DO NOT SHAMPOO! You can add a small amount of conditioner to the tips to help with detangling and then rinse

🌼 4. Allow the plant dye to rest on your hair for 48hrs. It is still binding to the keratin in your hair and settling. We call this the resting period. Avoid swimming, getting hair wet, even a sweaty scalp if possible.

🌼 5. Enjoy your beautiful colour made 100% from nature 🫶🏼🌿

This might be my new fav shade 💜🌿❤️

I’ve been experimenting with henna and indigo for more than eleven years, always trying to find ingredients and shades that I couldn’t find anywhere else.

This latest one is my new absolute fav, the way you can see cherry lowlights in some angles and purple tones in others.

I have written down every single batch that I ever made, either for me or my clients. This has given me invaluable data to perfect colours and to keep client’s shades consistent for every application.

Always record your paste ingredients and environment and perfect each shade from your logged data.

Comment “perfect my shade” and I’ll send you my FREE log sheet which I use to record my batches 💚😘

If you mistake learning as a long time, then you forget that every great transformation begins in a moment of patience.

Really enjoyed pampering myself with these all-natural bath salts, which are working wonders for my foot baths and tub soaks!

The combination of Epsom and Himalayan salts, literally has me feeling like I am floating on air after a bath.

They were also very fun to make and the laters of different coloured salts and flowers just looks beautiful…Don’t you think?!

Comment BATH TIME and I’ll send you the exact recipe I used 🪻🛁
