Story time …

It’s a hot warm day and night time approaches. I am scrolling through Facebook, passing time till I head to slumber land.

I hear the door unlock and Oliver has returned home from one of his many walks of adventure out with his dad. Through many London parks. Says he has a surprise for me.

I roll my eyes thinking oh gosh what now. Do I need to mentally prepare myself for what you are about to show or share with me.

He looks at me and drops to one knee. My mouth drops to the floor as he whips out a bunch of random flowers that he has acquired from each of those afore mentioned parks of London. He then proceeds to ask me for my hand in marriage.

I am overwhelmed and start laughing at how the bunch of flowers were created and tear up with joy and shock.

I say let me try it on to see if it fit, of course and it is now stuck on pretty good.

I’m so blessed to call you mine. I feel protected around you. You make me feel more than an empress. I love how unique you are. You helped me feel complete. Your hugs, kisses and touches breathe new life into my soul. You see me and I you. I have always found you standing by my side during happy and difficult times. I just wanted to thank you for being there for me. You are the man I didn’t know I was ready to receive and accept into my bubble.

Just got my hair did and I am feeling myself so hard right now.

What a year it has been. Gonna keep it short and sweet.
Moved cities. Got ill. Eyes decided to lose vision. Deferred university. Came back to London. Found my old spark. Loved. Heart broken. Ready for anything else coming my way.

No matter how much pain one can be in a smile can always be plastered on. It’s who you surround yourself with that helps the most. Thankful for two special ladies in my life

I used to always fight against any bad things occurring in my life or around me.

Until one day I just allowed to go with flow and it became easier to handle.
