Lately, this is how I like to style my gym fits, I choose to wear a longer top with the leggings for modesty purposes. Most of my leggings & sports bras are from ❤️The set I usually get is the sports bra (super comfy) and the leggings, and then I pair it with a modest top !! My favourite collection has been the Elevate Seamless collection which you guys have seen on my stories countless amount of times (in the first & second slide)
are having their 5th birthday sale❗️and items are up to 60% off!
If you do shop the sale, don’t forget to use my code “SABA” at checkout to support your girl 🫶🏽

24 hours post surgery ✌🏽❤️
Your girl finally got discharged from the hospital today! My surgery went well Alhamdulillah (praise be to God) and now I’ve got 2 weeks of recovery ahead of me. I miss the gym so much but I respect my body for going through what it did in the past 10 days and I will honour and respect it until it’s ready to get back into things in its own time. The surgery wound is quite big so it can even take longer than 2 weeks to heal - I just hope & pray it heals quickly and I don’t get another infection 🥹 also - I’ve got so much love for my story gang as I’ve been posting regular updates on my stories and y’all have been nothing but kind, supportive & loving so thank you so much for that ❤️
This experience was nothing short of scary but I’ve realised that we are SO MUCH STRONGER than we think. I’ve never, as an adult, had a surgery, have never been put under general anaesthetic and I didn’t think I could go through with it but I did and it was OK! I’m also grateful to the team at the hospital ❤️
A massive thanks to my family, friends and all you guys for all the love, support & prayers. I had been in excruciating pain for the last 10 days and honestly I’ve never experienced something as painful as this in my life. This experience as a whole has taught me to respect my body and appreciate my health so much. Please keep me in your prayers because for the next week I have to get the dressing for the surgery wound changed daily by a nurse and that part is very painful 🥹
I hope to be back to the gym soon but I also wanted to share this part of life with you to show you that it’s never a smooth journey and life happens but we got this!
Love & light to all 🫶🏽

But it’s okay, I read somewhere that nothing in nature blooms all year round, sometimes breaks are necessary even when you don’t want to slow down 🥹

📌the importance of taking breaks
I want to talk about how important it is for our body & mind to take breaks. As much as productivity is essential, rest is just as important.
I feel so guilty sometimes for taking things slow & resting because I feel like I should always be productive and that my friends is a road straight to BURNOUT & exhaustion.
It’s important to push yourself but equally important to know when you need to rest and recover. This applies to the gym, to your career, to anything in life - don’t wait till you’re exhausted to take a break, do it before you get to that point so that you don’t get burnt out.
I’ve taken the last week off from the gym because (a) I’ve had a lot of stess the past couple of weeks (b) the extra stress has led to my period being 8 days late & (c) I feel exhausted. Initially I felt really guilty and bad for taking some time off from the gym but what’s the point of pushing myself when I know I’m not feeling okay? It could end up in an injury or further fatigue - neither of which is gonna help me right now especially with PCOS.
So, please remember to take some time out for yourself and do ✨nothing✨
Your body & mind will thank you for it. Work hard, recover harder 💪🏽
You got this x

GUYS!!
Guess who’s back 👀🥹
Firstly, I just want to say thank you so much to all the messages, comments & support you all gave me after my Nana Ji (granddad) passed away.. I’ve taken time out from social media to process things and grieve, and I can say that this has been the hardest experience of my life to date.
Nothing in life really prepares you for losing your loved ones, but now that I’ve gone through this it’s taught me that life’s too short & full of uncertainty. Make the most of every second you have with your loved ones & don’t take them for-granted.
Fitness wise - I’ve been VERY INCONSISTENT but I’m getting back into it slowly 🥹 we’re in October now and I still want to finish this year off strong 💪🏽
I hope you’ve all been happy, healthy, well and killing your goals ! ❤️
