MYTH: If you stop getting anti-wrinkle treatment, your wrinkles will get worse.

In contrast to how smooth your skin will be while getting Bobo (clinics aren’t allowed to name the real name on social media😅), it might seem like it’s gotten worse once you stop, but really, it’s just resumed the same muscle position as prior to receiving treatment. Once you start getting anti-wrinkle treatment, it will relax the muscles so the wrinkles seem to disappear. Even though they don’t actually disappear and normal development of wrinkles, with muscle movement will resume once it wears off… and they won’t be any worse.

💧What makes Profhilo so unique?

💧Profhilo has the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid on the market. Profhilo contains 32mg of low molecular weight HA (L-HA) and 32 mg of high molecular weight HA (H-HA) totalling 64 mg of HA in a 2ml prefilled syringe. High and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid each have different advantages for the skin. The high molecular weight hyaluronic acid adds volume to the skin, resulting in a lifting effect. While the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid provides hydration, particularly to the epidermis (the surface layer of the skin).

💧Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polymer which the body uses to keep cells hydrated and well supported. Around 50% of the body’s hyaluronic acid is found in the skin.

💧Profhilo doesn’t contain any synthetic additives, such as BDDE, and is the first product of its kind. BDDE is “1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether”. This is a substance which is cross-linked (or bonded) to hyaluronic acid in many dermal fillers to slow the rate at which the body breaks them down. Low-level-light therapy is based on Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology and is the application of light energy to the body for therapeutic benefits.
