I've recently created a set of 12 Star of the Month cards for my boss to use throughout the year. 🌟

The front features a bright, cheerful star design, while the inside is left completely blank, allowing plenty of space to write a personalised message for each recipient.

These are a lovely way to recognise achievements, celebrate milestones, and let someone know their hard work has been noticed and appreciated. ⭐

I really enjoyed working on this project and creating something that helps make recognition feel extra special.

Well... it rained all night, it's still raining now, and judging by the forecast, whoever's doing the rain dance has clearly mastered their craft. 😂

Perfect weather if you're a duck, an otter, or planning to build an ark. The rest of us will be spending the day wondering if summer got lost on the way.

🌻 SUNFLOWER RACE UPDATE 🌻

The competition is heating up!

Dakota's sunflower has had another growth spurt and is now too tall to fit in the propagator 🤯🌻 It's officially outgrown its first home and will be moving out into the garden this week.

Mine has grown a little bit more... but let's just say I'm still trailing behind 😅

As for Mr Crafts... unfortunately his sunflower was a dud 😭 So we've planted another seed and we're keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻 that this one decides to make an appearance!

We see you...wrapping ice pops in 57 layers of kitchen roll like it’s going to save your fingers from frostbite. Spoiler alert: it never works. It ends up soggy, ripped, and in the bin faster than you can say "who's left this wrapper on the floor?!"

😂 Current status: not enjoying Monday. 😂

I don't like Monday mornings.

I don't trust people who wake up before their alarm, go for a run, drink green smoothies, and say things like, "What a beautiful start to the week!" before 7am.

Meanwhile, I've hit snooze three times, forgotten what day it is twice, and spent ten minutes staring into the fridge hoping breakfast would magically prepare itself.

My tea isn't working. My motivation has gone missing. My patience is hanging on by a thread.

And if one more person says, "You've got the same number of hours in the day as everyone else," I may use my remaining energy to dramatically flop onto the nearest sofa and declare myself unavailable until Friday.

So, be honest...

It’s nearly the end of half term and back to normality 🙌🏻
The weather feels much cooler this morning… although apparently it’s still planning to hit 28°c later 🥵 Britain really does love confusing us.

We’ve headed to Chessington with Mr Crafts today… my SECOND trip there this week with Dakota 🤣
Merlin passes really do turn you into part-time theme park residents 😆

Also… swimming update 🏊🏻‍♀️
I floated on my back yesterday 🥳
Yes, I did have a pool noodle AND two floats helping me… but we’re ignoring those details 😂

I even managed more than 10 seconds!
Sadly I floated more like a rogue shopping trolley than a graceful mermaid and kept spinning round in circles 🤣

At this rate I’ll accidentally drift into the deep end waving at strangers like I meant to do it 💀

I'm rather late posting today.

This morning me and Dakota met up with my Dad and step mum in Richmond.

We went for a walk along the river...... it's such a beautiful area and surprisingly it wasn't that busy considering the weather ☀️

We saw some people paddle boarding, some ducks and someone said there was a seal 🦭 but we just missed him.

We had McDonald's for lunch at Dakota's request before coming home.

We're now getting ready to go for Dakota's swimming lesson 🏊🏻‍♀️ perfect way for her to cool down 🥵

Last week we planted our sunflower seeds and the competition is officially ON 🤣

Dakota is currently winning by a mile with a very dramatic looking sunflower that appears to have ambitions of reaching the moon 🌙
I’m not too far behind and feeling quietly confident 😌

Meanwhile… Mr Crafts’ pot is still showing absolutely NOTHING 👀
At this point we’re starting to question whether Dakota actually remembered to put a seed in there or just planted hopes and dreams 🤣
