Soft, shaded, and flawlessly natural 🥂

Ombre brows were the perfect choice for this client because she has oilier skin, which holds ombre pigment better for a longer-lasting result. She also wanted more shape and structure, and the soft gradient effect of ombre brows gave her a beautifully defined yet natural look that complements her features perfectly.

SWIPE ➡️ Transforming this client’s overplucked 90s brows was all about using the right products and techniques for a natural, long-lasting result.

For this transformation, I used Brovi Hybrid Pigments .uk —an advanced formula offering the best of both worlds: the depth of inorganic pigments with the natural fade of organic ones.

These hybrid pigments ensure the colour stays rich and true over time, blending seamlessly into the skin for a soft, realistic finish. By combining microblading and shading, we achieved both definition and dimension, perfect for restoring fullness to overplucked brows.

Each step of the process is tailored to enhance your unique features, leaving you with brows that are long-lasting and beautifully natural.

Lip Neutralisation 🤎🤍 Of course, it’s possible to even out micropigmentation without solely using an orange pigment 🧡

When neutralising lips, our aim is not to apply a specific colour but rather to balance the overall tone. My client prefers the shade of her inner bottom lip, which is a pinker, warmer colour. Therefore, we created a custom blend pigment to neutralise the darkness and achieve an even lip tone that matches the inside of her lip. The result? Just stunning! 😍

Lips naturally swell during the procedure since we’re using tiny needles over the lips multiple times. However, unlike brows, lips heal quickly and the swelling subsides rapidly.

Tools: Luna Cartridges 1rl Needle 0.25. I used a thinner configuration to create less trauma on the lips

📝 We decided to go for combination brows as my client desired a natural yet defined shape, with a specific request to avoid round arches, mirroring her natural shape. We focused on defining and lifting them to enhance her eyes and achieve a subtle lift.

Now let’s talk about colour 🎨

Rule #1: I never, ever use pure black ink, even on deep skin tones or those with dark hair. It’s crucial, especially for Fitzpatrick skin types five and six, to avoid stark black ink. Instead, I customise every pigment, opting for dark brown hues with warm modifiers to prevent any grey or ashy undertones once healed. Remember, colours change and settle as your skin metabolises the ink, resulting in a fade of around 40%. This way, it heals to a nice soft colour, rid of any unwanted tones.
