Do you know that feeling of pure excitement, fascination and joy? ❤️
That was me at Buddhist course 🌈 in Germany a week ago.
I am so happy that I'm going for what I am passionate about.
Not what society wants, what my parents want, what I should or supposed to do.
It is a huge relief.
Truth is priceless. Are you honest with yourself? Are you following what you truly want? Or what is expected from you?
You might think this has nothing to do with nutrition. But the truth is it has A LOT to do with nutrition.
If you are following things or path which you don't really like ( because you should). This will give you dissatisfaction which will show as stress, emotional eating, disordered eating or even an eating disorder.
It is important to stop and think it through. Be honest with yourself.
Does this sound familiar to you?

Overcoming obstacles brings joy.
I started to cook for our local community. This used to be unthinkable to do in the past. I was scared to cook for a group of people.
I gradually started to cook more and more realising that I can help local charity with this activity. I have overcome my fear. It feels soooo good. It is meaningful for me.
It give me sense if joy and satisfaction. It won't give me money but this reminds me of what values are important for me.
I decided to follow those values so I'm consciously following that. In the past it would be chasing money, career, partner. But this is not aligned with my values, if I'm honest.
Now I am more aligned with my values, I follow mindful eating and relationship with food have improved. I'm not overeating as I used to. But sustainable fat loss often isn't that straightforward process. It often requires tackling various aspects of life.
Looking at your core values is a good start. What are your 4-5 most important values?
For me it's compassion, growth, freedom, joy, friendship.

Today I woke up with horrible feeling that I'm sick. Hoarse throat, headache, muscle pain. I had do many plans today. Now I have to rest. Damn it. 😣
Sometimes the body says stop and give me some break. Our job is to listen to our body and rake it easy.
Put yourself first ❤️ Organise your life so you can have this rest.
So many times people overcompensate because they keep going even though they are exhausted or even ill.
It is not worth it 🤯
So many people would overeat to hype them to feel better or just habitually because they are so tired. Comfort food makes them feel better. For a short time.
Focus on the source of the problem ( tiredness/illness ) and stop pretending it's not there.
I had to learn this myself the hard way. I am over doer. I often go to extreme and put pressure on myself. But yes, I'm learning to slow down. To take my time. Balance is important.
Is this also your experience? Can you rest easily?

After a long pause I decided to post here.
I was silent because I did not enjoy posting. But now I see the value in it. I see the chance to bring something useful, beneficial, meaningful.
Do what you enjoy is what I follow now.
Imagine you do a job but you do it even though you don't get any money for it because you love it.
This type of joy I am talking about.
For me, it is not promoting esthetics, restrictive eating habits, short term results.
It's all about changing of a lifestyle. Giving others more joyful and meaningful life combined with healthy habits.
It's about not giving up despite the obstacles and pursuing your dreams.
This aspect is repeating so much recently...joy joy joy is the way to go. And cutting off all the ego nonsense at the same time.
Doing what you love, what makes you grounded seems like solution to so many problems.
Even when it comes to eating emotionally. The same principle applies.
I will be soon restarting my nutrition coaching because it is something I love to do. I love to help you with healthier and more fulfilling life.
❤️❤️❤️

10 things I have learned from last 10 years
1. Do not listen to others, listen to yourself. Only follow your values and dreams, not your parents or partner's or friend's dreams.
2. If others tell you you cannot do it, believe me, you can!
3. There is no too big dream, the only problem is that you give it up too easily.
4. Keep it simple. The best things in life are usually the simplest things.
5. You are not weird, you are just not authentic enough. If you embrace your weirdness, you embrace your authenticity.
6. If you are not sure, go always the way which gives more joy.
7. If you give, you cannot lose.
8. Don't wait for the perfect time, there is never a perfect time. Start now.
9. Do a therapy.
10. Spent money on yourself. It is the best investment.
