I am SO strict about when you can come back. Some patients I say: I won’t touch your under eyes for YEARS. They come back 2.5 years later — I still say no. Not ready.

If you have a sunken tear trough and you add cheek filler, your under-eye will appear MORE sunken. The more we project the cheek out, the further away it becomes from the under-eye. Inner and outer tear trough = visibly more hollow.

2️⃣ THE NASOLABIAL FOLD.
Same concept, different area. The bigger we make the cheeks, the more sunken the nasolabial fold looks. The fold doesn’t get DEEPER — it just LOOKS deeper because the cheek is now projected forward. 🚨
