Last weekend, I had the great pleasure of leading a training session on Sophrology & Creativity ✨

It was such a joy to share tools, experiences, and creative practices with such engaged and enthusiastic students. Their involvement, openness, and participation made the whole experience truly inspiring 💜

This topic is especially close to my heart because it brings together two subjects I deeply love: mental well-being and creativity.
I truly believe creativity can become a powerful tool to reconnect with ourselves, express emotions, develop confidence, and support emotional balance.

After an impressive first experience at a major international competition in Poland, the young fencers I have been supporting came back stronger than ever: they won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at their Leon Paul British competition.

Tomorrow, they will take part in the British Youth Championships, and we wish them all the very best for this exciting challenge.

These results are also a reminder that success in sport is not only about technical ability or physical training. Mental preparation plays a crucial role in performance. An athlete can have excellent technical skills and still freeze on competition day if stress, self-doubt, or pressure take over.

Through sophrology, we work not only on stress management, but also on:
• confidence
• calm under pressure
• grounding and body awareness
• focus and concentration
• positive visualisation of performance

Research in sports psychology shows that mental imagery and visualisation can improve confidence, concentration, and performance by helping the brain rehearse success before the event even begins. When the mind and body work together, athletes are able to access their abilities more fully under pressure.

It is inspiring to see these young athletes growing not only as fencers, but also in resilience, self-belief, and emotional strength.

I am incredibly proud to have supported the young fencers of Escrime Academy in their mental preparation since November.

As a sophrologist specialising in working with children, it has been a truly rewarding experience to guide them in developing focus, confidence, emotional regulation, and the ability to trust their own resources — both on and off the piste.

Today, they are taking part in the Challenge Wratislavia in Wroclaw, Poland — an international fencing tournament for under-15s, known for its strong tradition, excellent organisation, and for bringing together young athletes from all over the world.

Beyond performance, my deepest wish is that this first international competition becomes an unforgettable experience for each of them — filled with learning, self-discovery, and above all, enjoyment.

They have trained for months, physically and mentally. Now is their time to experience, to express themselves, and to enjoy every moment.

Wishing them all the very best of luck — I am cheering you on all the way!

✨ What is a safe place in sophrology? ✨

In sophrology, we often work with a safe landscape – a place in your mind where you feel deeply relaxed, safe, and positive. This mental space helps you tap into your inner calm, bringing a sense of balance and well-being whenever you need it.

For me, one of my safe landscapes is the Alps. I’ve spent countless winters and summers there, surrounded by family, creating memories filled with joy and serenity. I love the mountains in winter, covered in white snow, in summer when the sky is blue and the sun is shining, and in autumn like today, with its stunning mix of green, red, brown, and yellow. Each season brings its own beauty and tranquility.

✨ This morning, the sun was shining, and it was the perfect time for a walk in nature. 🍃☀️ I took this opportunity to slow down and fully immerse myself in the moment, using all my senses to enjoy this time just for me.

👃 Smelling the fresh, crisp air after the morning dew
