A little update from me 🤍

To all my lovely clients,

I’ve been going back and forth about whether to share this, worried it might affect everything I’ve worked so hard to build over the last three years. But I’ve realised that being anything other than honest is doing me more harm than good. Just as I’d share if I were dealing with a physical injury that impacted my work, I feel it’s important to share this too.

Over the past five months, I’ve been struggling significantly with my mental health, and naturally this has had an impact on my business. One of the hardest parts of being self-employed is not having the support system an employer might offer, you still have to find a way to show up, even on the days that feel almost impossible. I never want to let any of you down, and I also want to continue supporting myself and my family as best I can.

Some days are tougher than others, and at times even basic functioning feels overwhelming with the constant anxiety and the physical symptoms that come with it. The good news is that I’m now getting the professional help I need, and over the coming months my main focus is recovery so I can return to my work with more energy, more clarity, and more of myself.

I’m still working, but I’m taking things at a gentler pace and not putting pressure on myself to stay “fully booked.” I want to give myself the time I need to get back to where I once was.
