WAVY PERMA® modern perm on very naturally straight hair 〰️ This client tied her hair up when it was wet to create volume and movement (as seen in the before) but her natural hair texture is extremely flat and straight, so she wanted a perm to add volume and texture. My client had super thick, wavy hair. She found her hair hard to style as some parts were wavy & some parts fell very straight. This, alongside the thickness, meant her hair took a long time to style each morning ⏰️
I used modern perm treatment to add thick waves & curls into her hair, using a mix of different sized rods for a natural result. I took thick sections to make each curl feel "chunky". This "chunky" technique is mostly only achievable on clients who have thick or coarse hair with no previous hair colour. Let me know what you think in comments! ✨️
