Older lips can get lip filler too.
Most of my older patients think that lip filler is mainly for the younger generation. Assuming that it would be over the top and unnatural or worried they end up with duck lips.
That doesn't have to be the case. It's all about the amount being used and the technique of administration. Lip filler can still be subtle and natural.
Sometimes it's the perfect solution for older deflated lips, as part of the ageing process affects the lips as well.

Full face approach to create a more refreshed look for this lovely patient.

Her main concern is the under eye bags and smile lines (nasolabial folds).

This was approached by addressing multiple areas with filler to restore lost volume and add support where needed.
Treatment done:
- Tear trough + under eye bags filler (medial cheek filler) to address the under eye area.
- Lateral Cheek filler to provide support for the Nasolabial folds.
- Nasolabial folds filler.

LIP FILLER

Maintained this lovely patient's lips shape as she already had a nice base to work with. Only add volume for more plump lips.

We don't always have to change the shape if not necessary, sometimes maintaining natural beauty goes a long way.

This lovely patient had a great lips shape to start with but they were so thirsty for some hydration due to smoking. Lip filler is composed of hyaluronic acid, that adds volume and plumpness, but also draws more water to the lips for further hydration.

Both my patient and I were very happy with the result.

• TEAR TROUGH FILLER.

Under the eyes is one of the first areas that can show tiredness or reflect the aging process.
This can be treated with filler to add some volume and provide more support for the delicate skin in that area.

• LIP FILLER STAGES •

In this case we wanted to create a balance between the top and bottom lips as you can see the top is fuller than the bottom one here. Ideally, it should be the other way around to be more proportional.

You can see that there's more volume right after treatment in comparison to the final result 2 weeks later. There's always more swelling right after, that goes down mainly the first 2 days and then gradually settles over the 2 weeks following about 10-15% less.
