Women play a key role in preserving Amazigh culture: passing down oral traditions, making textiles, and producing argan oil by hand — a process that can take days.

They’ve resisted colonization, empire, and cultural erasure — from the Romans to the French. Figures like Queen Dihya led battles for freedom, and today, their flag and voice are rising again.

This is a snapshot of who the Amazigh are — the people behind the rituals and natural products the world is only just beginning to understand.
