Peekaboo bleach up for Sandra

09/08/2025

Last week, was a sad one for me. This wonderful person has been with me as a client for 9 years. The twins and her daughter are the same age. They are off to Portugal for new exciting experiences and I’m going to miss her terribly. There were quite few tears and hugs shed.

Anyway, because of Nyati, I’m self-taught curl specialist and I have a large curly client base because of her. ❤️❤️❤️

Shell pink for beautiful . My Colour clients all know I’m a total colour geek and have a plethora of formulas running around my head at any one time. I’m always creating and testing and this is one of my most recent formulas. Wella Colourtouch 20g 9/97 10g 10/81 6g /56 left to develop for 20 minutes. It’s the prettiest softest tone.

This is my daughter on the left and her bestie Gray on the right. I had to ask special permission from my daughter to post these! Mathilda .gaia and her bestie Gray are my bleach models. I test out scalp bleaches on them before I decide if I’m going to use them on clients in the salon. I check for sensitivity, swelling of product (massive no-no for me! No one wants overlap!) And we don’t tone. They both like that raw bleach look. Sometimes I’ll use purple shampoo but that’s it. And we rarely ever get to do it at the six week mark so it’s always a double process. Out of all the bleaches we have tested Blondorplex is by far the most superior product. I won’t list the ones I don’t like because we all have our personal preference but we have tested quite a few.

I wanted to show how different blondes can look inside to outside in the glorious sunlight. Honestly, I’ve decided after last week in London, English are like cats. A bit of sun and they are in it! I’ve turned into one too. But wearing factor 50. .e.p.w

Full balayage for the lovely Clara. We wanted more brightness in Clara’s tone today so root shadow was 6/19 Illumina into Illumina 20g 10/69 20g 10/36 and 10g 9/19 with 1.9%.
First post for a very long long time. I’m still here, still working hard but the past three months I’ve been trying to find a balance between my work and my life and it’s a juggling act! I know I’m not alone. The world feels very heavy right now and it’s tricky navigating all this without wanting to implode.

When I was a 19 year old baby hairstylist in Brisbane, Australia my bosses flew myself and my friend to Hair Expo in Sydney. It was action packed weekend. I swallowed my nose ring AND I met Trevor Sorbie. My bosses literally pushed me in front of him as I was too shy. I remember being so awestruck that I couldn’t speak! I remember him being so patient with me and removed his glasses for the photo. before he went on stage. Anyway, that memory has stuck with me for nearly 30 years. Vale Trevor Sorbie. You are an icon and an inspiration to many people and you will continue to be so.

I recently had the pleasure of having this talented woman in my chair. Partial global bleach using Blondorplex. For the lived in look, colourtouch 8/0 as a root shadow into 10/6 and 9/36. And 7/89 to balance the natural warm in the remaining hair
