This client has Post Inflammatory Erythema (PIE) - this is often mistaken for Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, however they are not the same. PIE are red lesions that persist once the acne inflammation has gone down. It can take 3 months - 18 months for the PIE to disappear. How to speed it up?
