AM Skincare Routine For Oily Skin ☀️

I’ve put together a simple skin care routine for my oily gals and guys! Here are a few tips before we break it down

If you have oily skin and you avoid moisturising it .. STOP THAT IMMEDIATELY❌

Skipping moisturiser can disrupt your moisture barrier causing Acne, redness, sensitivity, dryness, breakouts and dehydrated skin.

When your skin is DEHYDRATED it means it lacks water. Your skin goes into panic mode and decides to produce extra oil to make up for the lack of water! So please .. MOISTURISE

Moisturising your skin provides hydration and also helps to repair your skin. Opt for a non-greasy moisturiser which is gel based, lightweight or contains ingredients which help regulate oil production.

Who doesn’t want healthy radiant and glowing skin? Another way to treat your hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone is by introducing a brightening toner in your skincare routine!

A “good” brightening toner should be gentle but effective! Containing the right percentage of AHA alongside ingredients that support your skin barrier.

Please be mindful of over exfoliation when using chemical exfoliants. Many brands will recommend daily use but this can easily upset your skin barrier causing more hyperpigmentation, irritation or redness. Always introduce products slowly starting by twice a week. Listen to your skin and give it time! Lastly DONT FORGET TO WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN! ✨
