Christie’s London is set to host a two-part auction featuring an array of items from the personal collection of late fashion icon Vivienne Westwood. The auction, titled “Vivienne Westwood: The Personal Collection,” comprises over 200 lots of dresses, suits, shoes, and jewellery looks spanning 40 years. With proceeds aimed towards charitable causes, the auction will begin as a live sale on June 25 and an online auction from June 14-28.

The iconic Collier de Chien bracelet is an Hermès staple 🧡

Introduced by Hermès in 1923 as a dog collar for a client’s bulldog, Parisian women fell in love with its design. It became so popular that Hermès began producing the design as a women’s belt in 1927. Its popularity convinced the brand to launch Collier de Chien bracelets and a collection of the same design in 1949. And the rest is history!
