A vascular occlusion occurs when blood is no longer able to pass through a blood vessel, it is a complication that can occur when injecting fillers. This lady also had a hematoma on her lip after the treatment which made it harder to check the capillary refill but she did have a vascular occlusion which was treated quickly by dissolving the filler, she has also suffered with a cold sore on her lip which can breakout after treatment.
