What is a gloss?

A gloss is a gel-based, semi-permanent colour designed to elevate your hair rather than change it. 💃🏻💃🏻 Over the past year it’s been a total transformation for my amazing client and now friend Donna. We recently cut all her hair off to this amazing chic French bob. And gave her a soft hand painted balayage to compliment her new restyle. Donna has been a massive supporter for us from the beginning, no matter the circumstances Donna has always been an amazing client to work with, shes literally the post positive person Iv ever met. Introducing Lilly! - “ A little bit about me ✨”

Hi i’m Lilly, a 24 year old Hair stylist from London👋🏻
From a young age I had such an interest in hair; from plaiting my dolls hair, cutting and restyling it, to watching youtube videos and learning how to curl and do fancy updo’s on my friends. It was something I really enjoyed and knew I wanted a career in.

I started my career working as a Saturday girl in a London trained salon in Banstead.
When leaving school at 16 i started working full time whilst doing an apprenticeship learning from top stylist with backgrounds such as Vidal Sassoon, Josh wood, Rose Evansky’s, Trevor Sorbie and Richard Ward.
Once qualifying with my NVQ Level 3 i worked hard building up a great clientele for 4 years at a Salon i truly loved.

In 2022 my spontaneity lead me to make such a big decision in travelling the world, seeing many country’s all over South East Asia and finally settling in Australia for 1 year!

Now finally being back in the UK i have invested in making myself the best Hairstylist i can be, taking many courses including and ABC+ Cutting course, learning the Sassoon way.

📍 I am based at in Tooting Bec, an incredible salon specialising in all aspects of cutting and colouring, where we are all devoted to giving our clients the most beautiful healthy hair.
I am so grateful for the team I have here and can’t wait for what the future brings ✨

Stunning blonde work by our Artist Amy. We are seeing our bright blondes take on a more autumnal look with more golden buttery tones. As we transition into winter, blondes usually go deeper and warmer with a more natural feel. We use colour which really enhances the shine and natural feel of this type of colour.
